Loot crate used to be good until the company fell apart the boxes had solid themes and barely met the price you paid for the items inside. I ordered the anime box and I am still waiting on at least four boxes, they have had major delays since at least September/October of 2019. The last few boxes were like the bargain bin anime items at hot topic: Attack on Titan water bottle, Sanrio character keychain, anime air freshener, Loot crate mascot pin. They forgot the shirt I contacted them about and they will send it later, which from my experience they do. Unfortunately I had to cancel and I do not suggest buying anything from them unless you like long waits and disappointing boxes that are overpriced.
Stay away from the company they are terrible to deal with. They take zero responsibility for actually sending paid subscription boxes. I have had a subscription for over two years. I have tired to cancel my subscription several times due to being charged for boxes and not receiving them. I finally threatened legal action and they ended my subscription. I cancelled in April and I am still receiving "delayed" boxes and it is now end of July. I don't know how this company is still operating. They suck.

They re subscribed me and charged my credit card without permission! This was before I even received my last crate so I was not even given the opportunity to cancel my subscription.
The BBB has opened an investigation on the firm "due to the amount of inquiries we have received" They filed for Chapter 11 for reorganization on 8/11/2019. It is case number 19-11791. I would like to encourage everyone to look on the BBB webpage for more information.

I would give ZERO stars if I could! I ordered a Welcome Crate with my Sanrio Hello Kitty Crate back in October 2020. The Hello Kitty Crate arrived every 2 months, although a month later than planned. It is now JUNE 2021 and I STILL haven't received my Welcome Crate. I have contacted them FOUR times and they keep saying it will be shipped out in 1-2 weeks. LIES!
As everyone else says, late shipping on boxes - havent receivd my March or April boxes yet, the tracking numbers they finally DO give you don't come up ANYWHERE - I've tried looking at different parcel tracking sites, apparently the multiple packages from Loot Crate don't exist, terrible customer service that takes a week or more to get back to you and when they DO get back to you, it's an unhelpful irrelevant automated script email which contains such little information. I bought from them in 2016 before they went bankrupt and had to be bought out and had no issues with them whatsoever. Now dealing with them is like pulling teeth trying to get a crumb of help. Please just avoid this company. Disappointing and frustrating.
In December I saw a Facebook ad for a one-time "vault" purchase crate containing an item I wanted and so ordered it and paid via Paypal.
The crate never arrived.
Instead months later I received a generic Gaming crate which I had not ordered, was of no interest to me, and contained clothing not in my size.
I checked my Paypal account to find that I had been charged for three crates in December, January and February. I logged into LootCrate's site to find no mention of the vault crate I had ordered originally but a recurring subscription to their Gaming crate - which I did not want or order. The settings for clothing size were also wrong and not my size.
I have attempted to contact LootCrate and been met with endless utterly useless replies made up of cut and paste nonsense about terms and conditions, about how three crates have been dispatched, (only one has arrived), about how the clothing size is clearly stated when I subscribed (I didn't - that's the whole point - if I had subscribed would I have chosen the wrong clothing size for myself?) and so on.
Useless. They are utterly, utterly useless.
I reported this to the Better Business Bureau who contacted them, got more around-the-houses nonsense, and then I was subjected to a second wave of total nonsense from LootCrate's "Hero" customer support team.
I still haven't been refunded for the two crates I didn't order and haven't had, or received the one crate I wanted. And if I wanted a refund for the wrong crate I have received I'd have to send it back at my own expense. Frankly, I don't believe they'd refund any of my money even if I did.
I have now ceased contact with this company as I believe they are simply engaging in fraud.
Addendum: Company did not contact me as stated below. No refund issued.
Purchased several crates, after filing bankruptcy they assured me that they would eventually process my orders. A ton of time has now passed and they still have hundreds of my dollars and now my account has "mysteriously disappeared" due to a system upgrade and they have no record of my purchases. This company is a total scam and I caution anyone from giving them money.
I ordered a loot anime crate for the sole purpose of their marketing. They advertised what looked to be a full box of a certain anime and to me, that was amazing. I had heard of Loot crate before via some YouTubers who obviously have a brand deal with them and get the best stuff all the time. I didn't know what I was getting myself in for.
I just received my box, didn't deliver to the right house for a start, didn't tell me it had been delivered so that was just a bad sign, to begin with. I opened my rather small looking box and was immediately disappointed. There was one thing, only ONE (1) thing related to the anime advertised and the rest were just random and I had no idea what they were. The one thing I got was a horrible feeling blanket (which wasn't advertised) and the other things were a horrible hand towel, a pin and a key ring. The hand towel and blanket are the worst feeling materials in the world and I don't even know what to do with them, I don't want to subject anyone else to the disgusting things.
They boast a box full of items that retail at $60+ and I think that is utter garbage. At most, the stuff in this box, you could get for $15 or less.
I cancelled my subscription already, I didn't like the stuff advertised in the next box so they won't get any more of my money, but I won't be investing in them ever again. False marketing, awful products and even worse customer service when you can't even contact them to ask any questions. I should have done more research before committing to the payment, could have saved myself the disappointment.
Purchased several crates with several orders. Have not received any conformation whatsoever, no tracking, no invoices, Time to file a Paypal Claim I guess... Seems they Take your Money and Do what they Please and when they Please, Which it truly to their own benefit only, I will never trust this company again and regret the purchases already made. Paypal hopefully will refund with the filed dispute
I have attempted to cancel one of the subscriptions. Apparently when you cancel, they keep it active and still charge. I've attempted to contact them, but have not gotten any responses. I have now cancelled both subscription boxes and contacted my credit card company. They keep trying to take out the amount of the box I have cancelled. Their cancellation process is one that I have never dealt with before. Usually when someone cancels, they cancel and don't want their card charged.
I bought a crate advertised as being from the movie The Crow. The item from 'The Crow' (bottle opener) was the smallest, poor quality (I haven't opened mine, but other have and say it is peeling and not fit for use) and disappointing. The delivery time was excessive and everything else in the crate wasn't interesting to me. I contacted customer services and they weren't helpful, and it would cost the price of the crate to send it back. Not worth it.
God awful! If I coule leave no stars I would. Ordered two crates october of 19 almost a year later I got 1 that had 1 item in it .. A shirt!! and a few weeks after that another that a shirt and a couple stickers!! Not what was advertised at all. Mind you all this after months of telling them I just wanted a refund because I was sick of waiting which they never gave me. All in all will never ever order from them again! And would be wise if you didn't either. Unless you like throwing your money away.
I have never written a bad review before but this company is disgusting. I paid for a one off box three months ago that I never received and they have now charged me for another AND won’t answer me. Disgusting excuse for a company
Loot Crate Questions & Answers

If you look at the good reviews, they are from 2014. This company has gone way down since then. Now they just take your money and never ship. I wouldn't be surprised if they go out of business soon.

Because clearly no one has had a good experience with them
